Hussin Fauzi Farm

Get ready to spend the day with wild animals at the Hussin Fauzi Farm. Located just two minutes away from the Selangor River, this farm actually follows the concept of a mini zoo. Expect to see ostriches, lizards and tortoises -- just to name a few. Sasaran Art Gallery Kuala Selangor

Based around 12km away from the town center of Kuala Selangor is the Sasaran Art Gallery Kuala Selangor. Overseen by the Sasaran Art Association, the remarkable and highly imaginative creations made by local artists are a sight to behold. On top of that, the outdoor park provides ample opportunities to capture Instagram-worthy images. Walk the grounds of the park and explore all the massive 2D murals and 3D installations on display. Meanwhile, the two-storey gallery, also referred to as Balai Seni Sasaran Kuala Selangor, is divided into an activity center at the bottom and exhibition space at the top.

Kampung Kuantan Royal Golf Club

For a relatively laid-back yet challenging sport to pass the time, head over to the Kampung Kuantan Royal Golf Club (RKKGC). Nestled in the rural village of Bukit Rotan, flee the chaos of the city and spend hours working on your “A” game at the oldest golf club in Selangor. In terms of the journey, it only takes about 45 minutes to drive from Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya and the Klang Valley.This 2,771-meter par 35 nine-hole field, which has since been remodeled with 18 holes, was constructed by British farmers in 1910. Therefore, this recreational golf course is among the first ones to exist in Malaysia. It remains challenging to both novices and high handicapped players, particularly the small putting green marked at a higher position. As the course necessitates walking, basic fitness is required. After the game, feel free to unwind at the colonial clubhouse.

TREX Bike Park

Boasting an elaborate bicycle circuit within a lush landscaped park is the recently developed TREX Bike Park. Apart from clear signs, the layout contains asphalt roads with direction (including merging lanes), back-to-back bumpy BMX tracks and varnished wooden MTB trails. There is also a spacious bike parking area that’s modelled into quirky shapes. Additionally, there is a bicycle shop inside to acquire rentals; mainly mountain bikes and city bikes for a very affordable rate. However, guests are definitely allowed to bring their own. Essentially, the park is designed towards families, cycling novices as well as MTB and BMX practitioners.
